Where is my data stored?
On your device. Jointly has no account and no cloud login, and by default it does not upload your budget data anywhere.
How do I back up my data?
In Settings, create an encrypted backup with a passphrase, then share it to a destination you choose (for example, a cloud drive). Keep your passphrase safe — without it, a backup cannot be recovered.
I got a new phone. How do I move my data?
Create an encrypted backup on the old device, transfer the file to the new device, and restore it in Settings using your passphrase.
How do I import my bank transactions?
Use the CSV import in the app. Imported transactions stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
How do I delete my data?
From Settings you can use Delete Imported Bank Data, Clear Budget Data, or Reset App / Onboarding. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
